Queer Gaala 2022: Bottan esteettömyys- ja saavutettavuustiedot*

Sisäänkäynti
Gaalan tilaan pääsee Museokatu 10:n sisäänkäynniltä. Aulaan on kolme porrasta (korkeus 50 cm). Teleskooppirampilla pääsee portaiden yli aulaan (pituus 288 cm ja kaltevuus 17 astetta). Teleskooppiramppien maksimi kantokyky on 125 kg.

Inva-taksilla pääsee ajamaan suoraan sisäänkäynnin eteen. Botta sijaitsee aivan Helsingin keskustassa. Lähin raitiovaunupysäkki on Kansallismuseolla (170 m). Galaapaikalle kävelee Kampin metroasemalta 650 m.

Pyörätuolihissi
hissin leveys on 70 cm ja syvyys 90 cm. Hissillä pääsee yläkerran juhlatilaan hissin penkillä istuen tai pyörätuolilla. Hissin maksimi kantokyky on 250 kg ja tuolin kantokyky 130 kg.

Esteetön WC
Esteetön WC sijaitsee aulassa ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Kaikki vessat ovat sukupuolineutraaleja.
Ovenkahvan korkeus lattiasta on 960 mm ja lukon 1120 mm. Ovi erottuu tummuuskontrastilla seinästä sekä ulko- että sisäpuolelta. Ovea on mahdollista käyttää yhdellä kädellä. Tilan ovi avautuu ulospäin ja sen kulkuaukon leveys on 890 mm. Oven kynnys on luiskattu. Oven ulkopuolella oleva tila mahdollistaa 1300 mm pyörähdyssäteen. Sisäpuolella oleva pyörähdystila on 1018 mm. Kiinteät kalusteet on sijoitettu niin, etteivät ne ole tiellä pyörätuolista nähden.
Vapaa tila WC-istuimen molemmin puolin on vasemmalla 1020 mm sekä oikealla 420 mm. WC-istuimen taakse jäävä tila täyttää määräysten mukaisen 200-300 mm. WC istuin on lattiakiinnitteinen ja sen korkeus maasta on 490 mm.
Huuhtelu tapahtuu vesisäiliön päällä olevasta painonapista. WC:n yhteydessä on kääntyvät käsituet (korkeus maasta 700 mm ja etäisyys toisistaan 530 mm). Käsituet on kiinnitetty WC-istuimeen. Paperiteline ja käsisuihku sijaitsevat istuimen oikealla puolella ja niitä voi käyttää istuen.
Käsienpesuallas on sijoitettu oikealle puolelle tultaessa tilaan. Se ei ole korkeussäädettävä eikä kallistuva. Pesualtaan korkeus maasta 795 mm. Pesualtaan alle jäävä tila on korkeudeltaan 665 mm sekä leveydeltään 585 mm ja syvyydeltään 570 mm. Hana on yksiotehana ja sitä pystyy käyttämään istualtaan.
Painettava saippua-annostelija on sijoitettu pesualtaan oikealle puolelle 1040 mm korkeuteen lattiasta. Lisäksi pesualtaan päällä on saippuapullot, joita voi käyttää yhdellä kädellä. Käsipyyheteline on sijoitettu käsienpesualtaan vasemmalle puolelle 1010 mm korkeudelle.
Pyörätuolipaikat gaalassa
Eturiviin on varattu reilun kokoisia pyörätuolipaikkoja. Gaalatilan muiden tuolien leveys on 42 cm.
Induktiosilmukka
Tilassa on mahdollisuus käyttää induktiosilmukkaa. Ilmoitathan tarpeesta etukäteen!
Muuta
Avustajat ja tulkit voivat osallistua gaalaan ilmaiseksi. Opaskoirat ovat tervetulleita. Pyrimme valaisemaan portaikot ja kynnykset mahdollisimman hyvin. Tiloissa ei käytetä välkkyviä valoja eikä savukonetta. Ethän käytä tapahtumassa voimakkaita hajusteita!

Botta accessibility information*
Entrance
The gala space can be accessed from the Museokatu entrance. There are three steps to the hall (height 50 cm). A telescopic ramp leads to the lobby over the stairs (length 288 cm and slope 17 degrees). The maximum load capacity of the telescopic ramp is 125 kg.

You can drive directly in front of the entrance by taxi. Botta is located right in the center of Helsinki. The nearest tram stop is at the National Museum (170 m). The party venue is a 650 m walk from the Kamppi metro station.
Wheelchair lift
The width of the platform lift is 70 cm and the depth is 90 cm. You can take the elevator to the gala space on the upper floor sitting on the elevator bench or using a wheelchair. The maximum carrying capacity of the lift is 250 kg and the carrying capacity of the chair is 130 kg.

Accessible toilet
The accessible toilet is located in the lobby on the first floor. All toilets are gender neutral.
The height of the door handle from the floor is 960 mm and the lock is 1120 mm. The door stands out from the wall both outside and inside with its dark contrast. It is possible to use the door with one hand. The door of the space opens outwards and its passage width is 890 mm. The space outside the door allows a turning radius of 1300 mm. Inside the toilet turning space is 1018 mm. Fixed furniture is placed so that it is not in the way of the wheelchair.
The free space on both sides of the toilet seat is 1020 mm on the left and 420 mm on the right. The space behind the toilet seat fills the required 200-300 mm. The toilet seat is floor-mounted and its height from the floor is 490 mm.
The toilet has a rinsing push button on top of the water tank. Hand rails are attached to the toilet (height from the ground 700 mm and distance from each other 530 mm). The paper holder and hand shower are located on the right side of the seat and can be used while sitting.
The sink is located on the right side when entering the space. It is not height adjustable and it can not be tilted. The height of the sink from the floor is 795 mm. The space under the sink is 665 mm high, 585 mm wide and 570 mm deep. The faucet is a single-lever faucet and can be used sitting.
The soap dispenser is placed on the right side of the sink 1040 mm height from the floor. In addition, there are soap bottles on top of the sink, which can be used with one hand. The hand towel holder is placed on the left side of the sink at a height of 1010 mm.
Wheelchair seats at the gala
There are reserved wheelchair spaces in the front row. The width of the chairs in the gala space is 42 cm.
Induction loop
The main gala space has the possibility of using induction loop. Please inform us before!
Additional info
Personal assistants and translators can attend the gala for free. Guide dogs are welcome. We try to illuminate the stairs and thresholds as well as possible. No flashing lights or smoke machine are used in the premises. Please do not use strong scents at the event!
