Happy New Queer 2023!

Oletko kiinnostunut tulemaan mukaan Qaarevan toimintaan? (IN ENGLISH BELOW)

Vuoden startti järjestetään Kvääristössä sunnuntaina 29.1. kello 14-18!  Voit saapua paikalle osaksi aikaa tai tulla nauttimaan queeristä seurasta iltaan saakka, mikä vain sinulle parhaiten sopii. Tapahtuman alussa on ohjelmaa, mutta olemme jättäneet aikaa myös hengailulle ja ideoiden vaihtamiselle!

Tule mukaan tutustumaan Qaarevan toimintaan ja Qaarevan eri tiimeihin, joihin sinulla on mahdollisuus liittyä mukaan. Tapahtumassa keskustelemme ja jaamme yhdessä ideoita ja ajatuksia tälle vuodelle matalalla kynnyksellä sekä uusi hallitus esittäytyy. Vuoden startti järjestetään Helsingissä Kvääristöllä osoitteessa Kolmas Linja 17. Tilasta löytyy esim. pyörätuoliluiska sekä esteetön ja sukupuolineutraali WC. Kvääristö on saavutettavissa Hakaniemen metroasemalta (450 m) tai raitiovaunuilla 3 ja 9 (Kallion virastotalon pysäkiltä 300 m).

Tapahtumaan ovat tervetulleita uudet ja vanhat tiimiläiset, tapahtumissa pyörineet qaarevat tyypit sekä jokainen toiminnasta kiinnostunut. Voit tulla tapahtumaan valmiilla ajatuksella sinulle sopivasta tiimistä, oppimaan tiimien tehtävistä tai vain fiilistelemään ihanassa queer-seurassa! Uusia tekijöitä kaipaillaan yhdenvertaisuustiimiin, viestinnän tiimiin, verkkosivutiimiin sekä tapahtumatiimiin! Lisäksi voit ilmaista kiinnostuksesi johonkin tiettyyn projektiin, kuten vaikka Queerious podcast tai Queer-kirjekaveri – näitä riittää! Myös kaikki uudet ideat ja ajatukset tiimien toimintaan (tai muuhun!) liittyen ovat aina tervetulleita.

Are you interested in getting involved in Qaareva this year?  

The spring kick off event Happy New Queer is held on Sunday January 29th from 2PM to 6PM at Kvääristö!  You can join us for a little while or enjoy the company of amazing queer people until evening, whatever works best for you. We will have program at the start of the event but there will be plenty of time for hanging out & exchanging ideas!

Come and get to know more about Qaareva and the voluntary teams that make Qaareva possible. At the event, you will also be able to join a team that interest you. You can share your ideas and wishes for the year and meet the new board of Qaareva! The event is held at Kvääristö at Kolmas Linja 17. There is a wheel chair ramp and accessible gender neutral toilet. You can reach Kvääristö for example from Hakaniemi metro station (450 m) or by trams 3 and 9 (from Kallion virastotalo stop 300 m). 

New and old team members, qaareva folks who have been at the events, and anyone interested in our work is welcome to the event. You can come to the event with a ready idea about the team that suits you, learn about the tasks of the teams or just enjoy the company of great queer people! We need new team members for the equality team, the communications team, the website team, and the events team! In addition, you can express your interest in a specific project, such as the Queerious podcast or Queer pen pal - there are plenty of things to do! Also, all new ideas and thoughts related to team activities (or other things!) are always welcome.
